This journey began last year, with the purpose of creating a more sustainable, more compassionate, and a more beautiful world. And I believed that this was possible only through Collaboration. Only if the Corporate world came together with each other, with Foundations, Trusts, and NGOs to make this happen. And this project would be the first step by building a platform for Corporate Chameleon stories to be shared. Stories where a corporate has gone beyond the call of business to contribute towards creating …. simply put…. a better world.

And the project did not let me down. From stories that kicked you in the gut like the Tata Trust Story told by Paresh when he looked directly at the audience and asked “How many more Eklavyas will have to give up their thumbs before we take action? ” while referring to the plight of migrant children or inspirational stories of individuals who had struggled but succeeded in creating livelihood for themselves and others.

There were stories of how proud Afconians overnight changed from engineers to COVID warriors across the world and stories of empowerment of the youth through sports and digital training. There were stories of family businesses where a grandson paid a tribute to his grandfather for having the foresight of creating a green cover in an industrial area and stories of social entrepreneurship and startups with a heart. There were stories from Akshara of creating safe spaces for women, to spread awareness on abuse through short films. And there were stories of organisations like MGB walking the talk in the space of diversity through their policies.

There were stories of the arts being used in rehabilitation in the Dongri home to a story of a musical anthem being created in Tihar with the inmates. There were COVID stories of companies adapting to change and contributing by using these difficult times to help others through engagement, quizzes and stories. There were stories of innovations in the space of sustainability by companies like Bosch and International Combustion and stories of celebrations at orphanages and senior citizen homes from ICE. And these are just a few. So many stories….. that touched the heart, warmed the soul, and were shared with such simplicity and humbleness.

These 3 days have changed in me in so many ways. Not just these three days but the last year putting this project together. The support from family, friends, ex colleagues, clients and partners has been overwhelming as has been the response from the Corporate world in terms of registrations and participation. A special shout out to ICICI Lombard and Zee International for their support and to other partners Crossword, MGB & Conscious Development. Last but not the least much gratitude to On-Stage Experiences our event partners

This experience has cemented my belief that we are not alone and it is only through collaboration that we can leave this world better than we found it.

Let’s change the world…….a story at a time…..
