The Season1 Finale of the Story Project 2020 was hosted live on Facebook and had a staggering 7000 plus viewers from all over the world. The 10 winners meticulously chosen by our eminent jury were in their elements. Prior to the Finale they had gone through a one- on- one story coaching to prepare for the D -day. We are indebted to Michael Burns, our jury member for stepping in to coach the storytellers. While they narrated the same stories, their storytelling was several notches above last time. Each storyteller made a mark and their narration was followed by a flurry of comments that clearly showed that their stories resonated with the listeners.

Alpa Vora, Child Protection Specialist from Unicef was our Special Guest for the evening. She was happy to note that Storytelling was being used as a powerful medium for change and commented that every story provided great insights and a heady dose of inspiration.

Harshil Shah, Marketing Head of Crossword also unveiled the 24 stories from Season 1 that have made it to the book that The Write Place the publishing arm of Crossword will be releasing at the end of the Story Project 2020. In addition to the book these stories will find a place of pride on the Corporate Chameleons UTube channel and all participating organizations will become part of our Story Portal to be launched early next year.

Another highlight of the evening was voting for the most popular storyteller. We had a great turnout for the voting and the Popular Award for Season 1 was bagged by Devanshi Dwivedi of MGB. Our Heartiest Congratulations to Devanshi. The Trophy and prize are on its way!

With the outbreak of the pandemic we were forced to switch gears and make the initiative happen online but in hindsight, we have learnt that nothing comes in the way when one is determined and passionate about bringing in a change. We are committed to enabling organizations come forward with their stories and would like these stories to spark dialogue and pave the way for collaboration. We need our future generations to inherit a better and a more sustainable world and that is only going to be possible when we all join our hands to make it happen.

Season 2 of the Story Project 2020 is launching later this month and we are reasonably sure that you will fuel this movement with some amazing stories.
